(Nerv 2nd announcement room)
Matsuki: What is happening?
Chyaku: No idea, but I do not feel good.
Yapioko: (radio) Unit-16 is going berserk. It broke gate A7 and is going to reach the ground of Tokyo 3 in a minute. Misato is hurt in the process.
Makoto: Matsuki, you will have to take charge again.
Matsuki: Issue order B-107, all to return to shelter. Maya, what does Magi say?
Maya: Blood type: Orange, it is a Evangelion.
Chyaku: No blue at all?
Maya: No.
Matsuki: Rei, Shinji, combat position. Target identified as......as..."enemy".
(Tokyo-3)
Rei and Shinji: Enemy? What is that?
Then EVA-16 climbed out from one of the many launching position. Its mouth is close, different from a normal berserked EVA.
Shinji: What? Enemy? It is unit-16. Matsuki, it is unit-16!! It is Kensuke.
Matsuki: (radio) This is a direct order, the first priority is pilot's life, second priority is destroy the enemy.
Shinji: But it looked just like a normal EVA...
Rei: (scream) Shinji!!
EVA-16 pounded onto Unit-15, punching her chest armor and have its other hand on her neck.
Shinji: Kensuke, stop it!! You will hurt her.
Matsuki: (radio) wake up, it is no longer Kensuke. It have disconnected from the nerves system of Kensuke. Attack now.
Shinji: But I may still hurt him. I do not want another Touji incident.
Matsuki: (radio) Change of order: first priority is destroy the enemy, pilot's life is secondary. It is a direct order.
EVA-16 pulled out the right arm of EVA-15, as blood flew out. Rei's scream was heard. EVA-01 charged toward EVA-16 with its progressive knife. It tried to jump away, but EVA-15 caught its left leg. EVA-01 pushed his progressive knife into its chest.
Rei: Shin....Shinji...the entry...entry pl...plu...g.
Shinji: Rei? Entry plug? Kensuke!!
With EVA-15 still controlling its left leg, EVA-01 started to rip the back armor of EVA-16 apart. Blood were spilling out.
(Nerv 2nd announcement room)
Maya: I can't look at this anymore.
Matsuki kept was on the verge of vomiting. Chyaku looked on in disgust. Makoto and Aoba decided to focus on the computer screen instead of the big screen which show the battle.
On the screen, EVA-01 pulled out a blood-stained Entry-plug with its blood-stained hand. Rei have fell out of conscience, but still holding the leg of their enemy tight.
Matsuki: Report status.
Makoto: Enemy is still activated. The Entry plug is pulled out, pilot's life is confirmed.
(Battle ground)
Shinji: You still alive? What you did to Rei, I'm repaying you double.
EVA-01 ripped its hand apart. With his progressive knife, he tore opened EVA-16 chest armor and pulled out some bloody internal organ.
(Nerv 2nd announcement room)
Matsuki could not hold any longer, she vomited. Chyaku dash out toward the nearest toilet, but did not made it there. Maya have fainted.
Makoto: (just looking at the computer screen) Enemy silenced.
Matsuki: (recovering) Shinji, stop the attack. Enemy silenced.
EVA-01 showed on intention of stopping, until it pulled out something, which looked like a entry plug, but red in colour.
Aoba: Another entry plug? A Dummy plug?
Matsuki: Classified this as 2nd class secret. (In thought) Only commander will be able to handle this.
The screen was replaced with the word "secret".
Matsuki: Send out NSRT. Pilot's life as first priority. I think Lieutenant Ibuki Maya also need some medical attention, so is Lieutenant-Colonel Misato Katsuragi .
(An hour later, Chyaku's office)
All lights were off, but Chyaku and Matsuki were in the room. (Not doing that type of thing)
Chyaku: You think it is Yapioko's doing.
Matsuki nodded.
Matsuki: But I hope I'm wrong.
Chyaku: I share your feeling.
Matsuki: But what were we going to do after the last E-A is defeated?
Chyaku: My mind is almost set. I'm happy with what it is now. I'm happy enough, even to die beside you...if the worst happen.
Suddenly Yapioko entred from the door. Chyaku quickly gave Matsuki a kiss, which Matsuki returned.
Chyaku: (pretending to put in some anger) Will you knock before you entre?
Yapioko: I'm sorry. Carry on.
Chyaku and Matsuki sighed relieves as Yapioko took left, showing that she did not overheard their earlier conversation.
(Two hours later, Hospital)
Everyone in the Announcement room were required by commander to receive some sort of psychological treatment, especially Shinji. Rei not too badly hurt, but stayed in hospital for observation. Misato got some treatment to her wound, but need not to stay in hospital.
Doctor: You are Lieutenant-Colonel Katsuragi?
Misato: Yes, I am.
Doctor: The two in ward 901 have just woke up, but the two seemed to be suffering from a short term loss of memory.
Misato: Amnesic?
Doctor: Sort of. 2 young officers are with them now.
Misato: Okay.
(Ward 901)
The Horoshi woke up first. Chyaku and Matsuki were in the ward.
Horoshi: Chyaku? How long have this been?
Chyaku: About a week. By the way...
Matsuki walked over and whisper to his ear.
Horoshi: Alright, I understand.
Then Asuka woke up.
Chyaku: I'll get the doctor.
The doctor came in. And preformed a check on the two.
Chyaku: They do not seem to remember us.
Doctor: I can't give you a answer now, they will have to stay for further observation.
Horoshi: Where am I? Why am I here? And who are you??
Asuka: I can't remember a thing. 3 of you look so familiar, yet I can't call out your name.
Chyaku: Asuka...Horoshi...
Asuka: Who are you calling, Asuka? Horoshi? I know them? But who are they?
Horoshi: What is my name, damn it. What is my name?
Matsuki: Both of you clam down first. Your name is Soryu Asuka Langley, born on 4 Dec 2001, and you are Horoshi Oni, birthday is unknown. Only you know.
Horoshi: Who am I. What am I.
Chyaku: Both of you are EVA pilots.
Asuka: EVA?
Matsuki: Evangelion.
Misato, Ritsuko and Yapioko entred.
Matsuki: I'm having a look at Kensuke, you all go ahead.
Chyaku: I'm coming with you.
They took leave.
Yapioko: You two really can't remember?
Horoshi: Not at all. What is your name?
Yapioko: I'm Yapioko, Yapioko Kaichi.
Horoshi: Pretty name for a pretty girl.
Misato: Horoshi? Your girlfriend is just beside you.
Asuka: Girlfriend? He and me?
Ritsuko: You forgot?
Asuka: I can't even remember my lover....
Horoshi did not seemed to take his eyes off Yapioko, this made her feel a bit uncomfortable.
Misato: I think they need some rest.
So, they took leave also.
(In a room, somewhere in the hospital)
(Shinji's mind)
Shinji, in school uniform, is looking at another Shinji, in plug suit.
Shinji: Look what have you done again.
Shinji: Kensuke? Touji? How did that happen? Why? Why? I thought it was over, must all those around me have to get hurt because of me.

Shinji: I do not want to. I really do not want to.
Touji, Rei, Asuka and Kensuke appeared.
Touji: You could have saved me.
Rei: You could have save me.
Asuka: You could have saved me.
Kensuke: You could have saved me.
Shinji: (a scream) No!! It was all out of my control!!
Kensuke: You were controlling Unit-01, then ripped me apart.
Shinji: That was for Rei.
Rei: I did not want to hurt anyone.
Asuka: Doll said she do not want to kill, but you did.
Kensuke: She is just another clone, not a real human.
Shinji: I don't care, I love her.
Touji: She is your mother!!!
Asuka: Mother!! Your mother.
The appearance of Rei changed into Yui Ikari.
Yui: I'm your mother.
Shinji: No...Rei, I want Rei back.
Asuka: You made love with your own mother.
Touji: You are sick in your mind.
Yui: Remember that night??

Shinji : I don't want to see them. No!! Rei is Rei, mum is mum.
Yui: I'm Rei.
Yui changed into Rei again.
Rei: I'm Yui, your mother.
Shinji: No. There must be more to it. No, I do not accept that.
Shinji broke free from his dream. He found himself in a hospital room, sitting by Rei. She was sleeping on the bed.
Shinji: I'm not accepting this. She must not be my mother.
Shinji ran out of that room and asked for a drive back to Nerv.
(Commander office)
Fuyusuki was doing some paper work. Shinji came dashing in, filled with anger.
Shinji: I want to know what is Rei. Who is Rei?
Fuyusuki: (Surprised) Will you clam down first?
Shinji: I can't.
Fuyusuki: I thought Ritsuko have showed you?
Shinji: There must be more.
Fuyusuki: Do you really love her?
Shinji: Need not to say...I do.
Fuyusuki: I can show you something, which Rei herself do not know. That's of course you promise that they you will keep it to yourself.
Shinji: Say it. I won't promise, I'll tell everyone if the need arise. You have to tell me, or you will lose your third child. I believe Rei will support me. Asuka and Horoshi are amnesic. Kensuke's Unit-16 is no longer repairable, you need me.
